The three photos we need
- Front view. Bite your back teeth together, smile wide, and pull your lips back so we can see the gums.
- Right side. Same bite, turn your head so we see the teeth from the side.
- Left side. Same again from the other side.
A fourth photo of the top teeth from underneath (tilt your head back, open wide) helps but isn't required. If you already have a panoramic X-ray from your dentist, a photo of that is a bonus.
What a virtual consult can and can't tell you
Photos let Dr. Andros see crowding, spacing, how the bite fits together, and whether early treatment might matter for a growing child. That's enough to tell you whether it's worth your time to come in, and roughly what kind of treatment you'd be looking at.
What photos can't show is what's happening under the gums and in the jaw: root positions, palate width, the airway, and unerupted teeth. That's why the in-office free consultation includes 3D imaging when it's indicated, and why any actual treatment plan and price comes from that visit, not from a text.
Who this is for
- Parents wondering whether a 7 to 10 year old needs anything yet (most don't, and we'll say so)
- Adults who have been putting off asking about Invisalign
- Anyone who wants a second opinion before committing elsewhere
- Families in Kennewick, Richland, or out of town who'd rather know before they drive
Privacy
Your photos go to our office text line and are seen only by Dr. Andros and the clinical team. They are not posted anywhere or shared with anyone. If you decide to become a patient, they become part of your record; if not, we delete them.
